Help! Changed oil pressure sending unit now jeep wont start

Changed the oil and oil pressure sending unit and now my jeep won't start.

It cranks a few times then seems to lag and I turn the key back.

Any ideas or help?

It's a 2000 4.0 by the way

Is the oil pressure sending unit on that engine beside the distributor cap? If so maybe you knocked a plug wire loose?

Start with basics of cranks but does not start

Fuel in tank?

Fuel rail pressure?

Spark from coil rail at plug boots?

Cranking plus good fuel mixture plus spark= runs

Even if you took that sensor out and replaced it with a pipe plug, the engine doesn't know the difference. It would run anyway. So... there is one of two things happened:

a) you knocked something loose or damaged something doing the sensor replacement, or
b) something completely unrelated to the sensor change just happened coincidentally.

Thanks for your suggestions guys. It turned out I bumped the plug on the cam sensor.

It's all figured out but thanks again
