Question Intake

I am wanting a new air intake, to get some better air flow. I have a 2003 Wrangler.
What are some good brands that would give some more power and help the engine run better?

Search this site and you will see that none of them will give you more power and some even let in more dirt then others. IMO the factory setup is the best.

Trust me on this... that as counter-intuitive as this may seem, the TJ's air intake is actually completely free-flowing. It can easily flow more air than the engine can consume at even redline rpms and wide-open throttle. Jeep engineering specifically designed it to be totally non-restrictive.

That is not the case for many other air intakes, many are indeed restrictive... just not the TJ's. Really, this is straight from Jeep engineering. Yes, many engines (like the Mustang 5.0L engine) do benefit from a free-er flowing air intake but the TJ 4.0L engine is already getting all the air it needs through the factory air filter and intake system. Really.
When you have a choice, buy American.

I`ve read here that some people regret spending a intake system because there is little to no improvement on fuel and performance.Theres a thread about "I regret....."
