jeep engine sputtering

My daughters 97 wrangler 4 cylinder will sometimes start sputtering at idle. Sounds like it might cut off but never actually does.

I've replaced the plugs but not sure what else to give a try. Any suggestions appreciated.

Get some throttle body cleaner and get to it. Mine did the same thing. I also dumped some fuel injector cleaner into the gas tank. Idles nice and smooth now.

As stated above and also clean the IAC really well. Is the check engine light on?

Thanks. I'll try that. No engine light comes on. Is there a tutorial on how to clean the throttle body? I'm no mechanic but I can usually do things after being shown how. I've replaced the water pump and valve cover gasket recently.
