I am in the market to buy some 6in daylightes for my TJ. I want to remove my stock fogs and add a light bar that bolts to the stock bumber. My question is this, Do I need to buy the whole kit or can I just use the stock wires on the KC's? I already have fogs so will the aftermarket KC's work with the stock wires? Also, How would I add 3 lights if they only sell the kits with all the wires and switches in sets? Does KC sell a seprate wire kit if you want to add a 3rd light??

The factory fog lights are only like 50 watt each, if you put any more load than that then on you would need at least a relay to handle the total load of both lights according to the draw of your lights plus you would also need a fuse to handle the load.

KC makes direct replacement fogs that plug into the factory wires. I got them and all you have to do is drill out the hole a little bigger to bolt them on.

I saw the replacement ones, but im looking for something alittle brighter.

Ok, so I got my daylighters today and wow Kc makes nice stuff. So my question is where did you all put the new switch and how did you wire it into the cabin? Any pics?

I put my switches for my daylighters to the left of the steering wheel below the gauges, have to mod the metal plate behind the plastic but no biggie. As for the wiring there should be a hole in the firewall on the drivers side. Send em right through there.
