Let's Play Name That Plug!

I know that plug in the back (the giant one) is for the turn signal combination. But what's the white plug and the smaller black plug?

Bonus Round

What is this?

3rd picture is of a vacuum actuator. Usually for opening and closing the vents in the ac/heat ducts to change the flow from floor to dash.

First two pictures, haven't a clue.

Both are behind the steering wheel cover (bottom and metal shroud) located right near the turn signal control module.

Thank AzTJ, I think I disconnected something from there, I just have no idea what.

I was wondering the same thing this weekend. Funny you should post this. I have the same plug on my 99 TJ, but it is just hanging there. Don't think it was ever used but I don't know for sure. Right on the harness next to it is another larger black plug. Don't know what it is either. Probably for some option I don't have would be my guess.

Maybe it's for the cruise control.

You may be right with the large black one, they are usually attached to the dash though as it's law. Techs are not supposed to have to search for them.

Nah mines just kinda dangling. I have no idea where that would go. It's not a cruise control cable since I have cruise control and it's works perfectly.

I don't remember what it looked like, but there's an open plug down there for clutch safety switch override. You unplug one connection and plug the loose guy into the newly opened connector, still leaving one open. Talks about it in the owners manual of my 97. I did the change so i dont have to hit the clutch to start it up. Or i could be talkin about something completely off topic. Who knows.
