My Jeep's a Hot Box

Hello everyone! I am the newish owner of a 97, 4 cylinder with 151,000 miles. I am hoping that someone can help me. I have searched but can't seem to find a similar problem.

Since it is getting warmer I have noticed that I can not turn the heat off. If the blower is off, and the temperature is set all the way down heat blows from the defrost and floor vents. I can not drive in sandals because my feet feel as if they are burning. I can sometimes manipulate wear the heat comes out but not always. Since I have taken the hard top off it is more bearable but still seems like there is something wrong. Also the previous owner installed a "custom exaust" and the floor is so hot after a short tip that it is too hot to touch.

Any insight would be greatly appreciated!

Sounds like you have bad blend doors. Also sounds like your control unit is either bad or a line came off it. Your going to have to pull your trim panel and then pull out the control panel and see if you dropped a line.

If you haven't gotten more out of the insurance company than you deserve, then you haven't screwed them nearly as much as they have been screwing you for the past xx years.
