Name that part?

Was connecting cigarette lighter and noticed this plug not plugged in ..wondering where it goes, what it does...thanks

I believe that is the plug for the hard top defrost. If you don't have a hard top it would just be taped back there or plugged into a blank switch. Let me know if you have any questions!

There are plenty of connectors in our TJs that aren't connected to anything. Jeep basically uses one wiring harness which accommodates various optional accessories and transmission types.
