Trying to become a Jeep owner but on a budget! Im a 23 year old girl who just wants a fun car to drive for a few years!

Looking at a 1999 Sahara, 4x4, 6 cyl, Automatic, it comes with both hard and soft tops and is in excellent condition! It is garage kept and always serviced with brand new wheels!
They are offering it for 7500!

My ONLY major concern is that is has 187k miles on it!
I dont know if Saharas can go far beyond this amount of miles??
Any advice on this one?
I cant decide if i should pass it up or snag it before somebody else does!

I don't have any good advice...other than I found an 05 with 217k for 6500. It was in pretty nice shape. With an engine it's not if it's gonna wear out it's when. You can always rebuild or replace but you have to account for that in the price. Heck offer them a low offer. Mine has 190k but has been rebuilt. Good luck.

Price is a little high for that mileage. Somewhere closer to $6,000 would be closer to a fair price. Do you have anyone that can help you with maintenance? These vehicles can be money pits if you are not able to perform routine maintenance and make simple repairs such as replacing water pumps, alternators, brakes, radiators...

Make sure the 4.0 is quiet, no clatter or rattles I had 140000 on mine and pistons broke.No abuse engine was clean and in great shape other than that, after my experience the 4.0 scares me but as others say get a good one and my buddy did its got almost 300000 on it without rebuild, and you should be good if any noise I would run away.
