Need ring and pinion options for d30

Busted up my d30 front this weekend.
Need new ring and pinion for sure - possibly complete overhaul kit. 4.56 gears - I have a e-locker in there as well that I hope is not broke.

What is best brand to get?
Where is best place to get from? Cheapest?

Or anyone have a d44 laying around? lol

thx
matt

I got a great price at Lockers Posi LSD Gears Axles ~ Discount Drivetrain parts ~ RWK Haus Supply from [email protected]. I don't know what the best brand is. Pretty new to Jeeps.

If you "busted stuff up", then I'd get an entire rebuild kit if you know how to set up gears. Little "busted up" parts can wreak havoc on your bearings. You have to take it all apart to set up the gears anyway so you might as well change the bearings too. Once you get it apart, check your locker to make sure it's not also broken (I'm not familiar with your locker).

As far as where to buy, East Coast Gear Supply was great for me. I went with 4:56 Motive gears.

I got Yukon ring and pinion 4.56 gears. Upgraded alloy. Got it either from Morris or Quadratec. Can't remember. Bout $300. BTW, with a locker in the front, you're putting a lot of stress on that D30. If it keeps busting you might want to think about taking out the locker and putting in spyder gears instead.
