New clutch question

I installed a new Luk clutch kit on my 06 - 2.4L over the weekend. Everything was so smooth and quiet when it was first done. Now it's been about 5 days and it seem like now when I have my clutched pushed in it makes a howling noise? Could that be the new throw out bearing? Just seems weird It just started it yesterday.

Yes it could be. Very likely. Did you replace the release spring as well? Little guy that holds
Fork to the ball. That's another guess. Sad to here from a LUK mine is working well.

No I only replaced what come in the kit. It was my 1st clutch I've ever put in. All new to me lol. Yes I have heard nothin but good things about the Luk that's why I went with that. On the other hand it is still much quieter than my old clutch. In guessing it won't hurt anything??

Time will tell. If it's the bearing itself making that noise friction will catch up to it. It could just be an odd ball thing that goes away too. It won't harm say the engine or transmission. Other than on a rare occasion grooving the transmission input shaft. Not likely. I'd ride it out if it were me. At least if it fails you know how to change it. If you wouldn't mind. And if you can remember. Shoot me a pm if you find out what it is or it fails. I am really curious. Best of luck man.
