New Kicker speakers

I purchased the kicker speakers from quadratech.
The sound bar and fronts.
I put in just one of the rears to compare to the stock before I put all in and I'm very disapointed in the sound.
It didn't sound as good as the stock one with even less bass.
Has anyone else experienced this and what speakers should I get to improve my sound?
I'm still using the stock Radio but was planning on getting a new one with blue tooth, I have that in my car and love it.
I run with my top off mostly and the sound is terrible.
Please help!
Thanks
Rick

I like JBL. Granted you WILL not get a lot of bass from sound bar speakers. They are to small. I put links to most my audio stuff in my profile if you want to check it out. If you want bass a sub and amp or powered sub are in order. My JBLs are crisp and clear and have beautiful highs and mid's and are punchy but bass from a 6.5 not much brother. They have a special design for a wider cone and still are not bass speakers.

Get a good quality stereo and put a subwoofer somewhere (I chose the center console because it was already an option on some jeeps). A good quality after market stereo will supply more power to the speakers helping them reproduce sound more effectively and a small subwoofer will really help round our your sound system.

I recently installed kickers in both the dash and sound bar only to be disappointed also. I put 5.25 in the dash and 6.5 in the sound bar. I have a JVC head which sounded better with the stock speakers. I would put in a sub but I don't want to wast any of the little space a TJ has.
