I'm looking at getting new shocks when I get a lift (2") and was wondering what you guys and girls recommend. I would like quality shocks but don't need the best. I have looked at prices on blisten 5100 and OME nitrocharger and I think they are out of my price range. I'm thinking $250-300 for the set. Thanks for the help

Oh I won't be getting the lift for a while. So any deals on now I'm not concerned about

The Zone Nitro Shocks are a good riding shock and they'll save you some money for sure. Do some searches on them and you'll see what people have to say. Let me know if you want to give them a try and I'll get you a quote!

EDIT: Posted the same time as Rancho. They make some awesome shocks and the sale may put them right in your budget!

I really like the RS9000 for the TJ platform, I like the ability to adjust the softness/firmness of the ride.
A lot of TJ guys like a monotube style. These ride firm/responsive. I run these on my JKU and LOVE them.
I don't sell direct but the 9000's are usually $100ISH and the 7000's ( the monotube) are $70ISH.

Thanks I'll look into them. I'm thinking the 7000 since I live in the rust belt and I've heard the 9000 can rust to where you can't adjust them.

The Rust Belt is tough ( and anywhere they salt/mag chloride the roads). I suggest applying a clear coat as added protection and adjusting the knob every few months.

Another thing about us:

PERFORMANCE GUARANTEE AND 90-DAY RISK-FREE RIDE OFFER
We challenge you to try our Rancho® RS9000™XL or Rancho® RS7000®MT Shock Absorbers risk-free for 90 days - if these products* don’t meet the challenge, call us for your money back.

I like the guarantee. When I get the lift I might have to try a set.
