K so I bought my lifted TJ from a dealership and the guy only had knowledge of the fact it has sway bars with quick disconnects. It's sitting on (I think) a 3" body and 4"suspension lift.

I have noticed a couple of issues with it, the parking brake only holds it from the very last click. Also the shifter has a JOG for 1st gear. Doesn't seem to be related to bumps in the road, and sometimes I notice that it doesn't want to fully go into 1st gear.

I know it's probably been covered and I have researched the JOG a bit. Some people say it's likely the lift and some the inner shift boot. My question is do y'all think it's likely that the lift could cause both issues. Also has anyone ever worked on a parking brake before?

Welcome to the forum. My guess would be that the rear brakes need adjusting, possibly replacement. For the shifter, probably the body lift. I would ditch it and put a 1.25" body lift maximum.

Thanks man. I'll look into it. The box doesn't grind when it jumps, so I don't think it's doin any damage, just don't want my TJ having unnecessary issues/attitude lol

I have read where you can cut some clearance (on console I believe) but don't remember all the details. Saw on this forum in months past. Might could do a search and find it.
