Plastic wheel fenders, restoring black color

My "black" plastic wheel fenders are faded. Is there a good way to darken them? I suppose one shouldn't paint them.

Any suggestions? Their grayish, burnt by the sun, look is okay too.

Does your fuel tank "belch" fuel on the flares, every time you fill up at the gas station?

Either way, check out this thread:

If the flares are prepped correctly, there's nothing at all wrong with painting them. Here's another thread to check out.
