Possible fuel pump ?

Well me 04 tj with 6 cly auto is acting up and I am not sure of the problem since it runs but keeps quitting. I have 180000 on my rig and has never missed a beat.
The other night I got off the Intersate and wheen I went to accerate the jeep stumbled and I had to feather the pedal to keep it running. The next stop it did the same but stalled. It started right back up and went about 5 more miles. When I got to my destination and was looking for a parking spot it kept stumbling. When I left to go home it stared right up idled fine, i drove about 2 miles and it stumbled and quit. This time it would not start back up. I call a towing service to get her home. When the tow truck arrived it started right up but I was not taking any chances.
I wanted to get some opinions before I dig in as to what the problem might be.

Thanks in advance

Fuel pump check rail pressure

Crank angle sensor

How low is gas in tank?

Loose dirty battery cable or ground

Damaged harness where it wraps around rear of head

Intermittent problems can be tricky

One was a battery cable basically corroded thru at battery clamp

Another was a guy whose fuel gauge was off and happened when tank almost empty despite gauge saying 1/4

Digger84 Thanks - I just went out and got a fuel pressure test gauge. Of course I had just filled it up the day before so I am pretty sure the gauge is OK. I will check the grounds and the harness behind the head. I think to be on the safe side I am just going to replace the pump, filter and crank sensor. 183,000 they are bound to go at some time and I do not want to get stranded this winter.
