power loss

I have a 2003 jeep rubicon I have been having problems with the power it will rev up to 2 grand then it acts like it gets choked out it has no pullin power what so ever anybody have any idea what might cause that

Clogged Catalytic Converters seem to be the hot item for this right now. I just changed mine that was clogged. Do you have a check engine light on?
