When I bought my LJ the factory fog lights had been removed. For Christmas my wife bought me a set of Quadratec Fog Lights. The Quadratec Fog lights and the existing connector appear to be female. Is there a pig tail I need to get to hook these up?

For starters what kind of connector is on the Jeep? If it matches, plug it in. If not, get some spade connectors and replace them.

Not being a jackass, but you CAN use a wire crimper?

Did you see the wiring option on the link you provided? $40 difference seems a little high to me..

For this to work on your TJ there are a few options:

If you have factory fog light wiring & the switch:

-You can cut & splice the wiring; Or
-You can purchase this wiring adapter kit:

If you do not have factory fog light wiring:

-We have a wiring harness with relay, fuse, switch here:

I bought the 7" fog lights linked above but they won't fit on my bumper. The bracket these come with is a lot taller than the bracket on the stock fog lights and with the added height they will not fit on my bumper and under the hoop of my bumper. If the bracket was 1/4 shorter they would work.

Any ideas? I can't weld or fabricate. I suppose I could take the bracket to a local shop that could make the exact same bracket but a little shorter.
