I dont think that kit comes with Door Surrounds or a tailgate bar. So you will need those.

as a rampage frameless owner please look at the bestops! In one year of owning my rampage top I have had it repaired 3 times it will need to get some straps redone soon and the zippers are starting to go. Also to awnser your question you will need a header, tailgate bar, and door surrounds.

Do bestops make bowless tops? I really want a bowless top because of the easy installation and I can take the windows out to make a Safari top with the rampage bowless soft top.

Bestop makes the Trektop NX (It comes with all hardware needed to get on Jeep) which is almost identical to the Rampage top but with some key differences. To be honest, removing the windows is the easy part on these tops... Its putting the windows back on the Jeep that can be a PITA. After about 2-3 years my Trektop is still a struggle to put on. Im going to need a new rear window, or my rear window worked on because the zippers are pulling away from the window. Also a few other very small things have popped up.

The concept of "a frameless top is easier to get up and down" in my opinion is untrue. On my stock top I could have the whole thing down in 10 mins. It took me longer to store the windows. I can put the Trek NX on in 30mins.

I have noticed that Bestop has made some improvements to the Trek NX since I bought it so maybe they have cleaned up some of the little things. Would I buy another Trek NX?... Yes, because I like the look of it up. I dont like going completely topless so for me the added work to get the top on is worth it. So if you dont mind a little more work to get the top on, then I encourage you to go frameless. If not then get something similar to the stock soft top.

I don't own a frameless but I have been researching them. Never heard a Rampage owner with nice things to say. Seems Besttop is the best, Pavement Ends is a more affordable alternative with few but acceptable shortcomings. That said, you are now caught up with my research at least.
