Random/Multiple Cylinder Misfire

So I've been getting a Random/Multiple Cylinder Misfire code for about a year now, but just every now and then, maybe once a month. engine light with flash and jeep with stumble for about 2 min. Just looking for some guidance on where to start looking. Thanks

05 jeep Rubicon 98k 4.0l

I've noticed:
Only a min or two. after start up.
Lasts for about 30sec- 2 min.
when damp out
Pisses me off

What I've done:
changed spark plugs, running copper core plugs.
disconnected fuel injector connections and inspected.

Not sure if this matters but I also have a code for a small EVAP Leak

What specific misfire codes are you getting? If it's a specific cylinder, I would swap fuel injectors to see if the code follows the injector. Then I would check compression on each cylinder.

As for the small evap leak, I would look at a loose gas cap first then the vacuum lines(cracks, etc..) under the hood.

I'll pull the stored code and post it, I'm away right now for a week, however I know I pulled the code before and it wasn't a cylinder-specific misfire. But I will double check, to insure I'm posting correct information. As far as bad compression, you would think it would misfire all the time then. maybe I'm wrong though.

I've already replace the fuel cap and have checked the hoses. no cracks all the way through but I'm planning on replacing the hoses anyhow because I've heard a small EVAP leak can be as small as a pin hole.

Thanks for the reply I'll get that code posted as soon as I can.

Does it have the original OPDA in it?

Yes it does. Could this maybe be it? Has anyone had a random misfire code because of this?

I believe some have reported the random misfire code with a worn OPDA. You should check it regardless.

Since it does it when it's damp out, I'd check the coil boots. Also check the crank sensor connection.
