Rear differential HELP ME!

So I found out I need to replace some gears in the rear diff... But I'm trying to take out the pin that holds in the spider gears won't clear the big gear, how would I get it out??

Looks like you probably need to remove the ring gear.

Was trying for the quick way but had to take everything off to get it out, needs a new pinion

Just FYI, gears need to be set up precisely. If you have never done it, I suggest you get it to a ring and pinion shop. It's not a bolt-in operation.

Glad u marked the bearing caps because they need to go back same side and same side up.

Fun Fact: Dana/Spicer was nice enough to do this at the factory before they buttoned things up. On the '44s at least, they stamp a little mark on each cap, and a matching mark on the flange of the pumpkin where it goes. Shows both side and orientation.

yeah i marked the bearing caps and also figured out that i needed to send the gears to a shop and get them installed, i got it all back together and its running good!
