Reverse Popping

Anyone else have this problem? I had it before had it taken under warranty 30k/3year by dealership no problem. Came to Hawaii Cutter Dealership (DONT GO HERE, LABOR IS EXPENSIVE, THEY RIP YOU OFF, THEYRE STUPID) Took it in for same problem, they quoted me $500 to look at it saying it could/could not be covered. However I just found this

2005 JEEP WRANGLER Bulletin - Vehicle Safety TSB ID 66972

UPON UPSHIFTING THE 6-SPEED MANUAL TRANSMISSION INTO REVERSE, THE CUSTOMER MAY NOTICE THAT REVERSE GEAR MAY NOT REMAIN ENGAGED. *TT

Think I can get it looked at now?

If there is a TSB it should be covered. Then again if they said it is normal then it will not be. Hey hows the weather on the island? Take it everything made it over in one piece and nothing missing? Get this.... ya I still have not installed the side steps yet.

Ok I was being lazy. REad the TSB and as long as your power train is still under waranty then You should not be charged. If it is out of waranty you may be able to get them to foot the parts and you pay labor. That should be your tranny.

Yup I have 7 year/70000 mile power train warranty but the guys at Cutter Dodge dealership are thieves and stupid, Im pretty sure theyll blame my lift. So Ill have to take it to another dealership far away.

Weather is good 60s at night (cold seriously) and 80s in the afternoon. Hey so those side steps I bought from Jerry still not installed either ha. I drilled some holes before I left and ran out of time, now those sliders are still in storage. Doesnt help that im about to buy a house with 1 car garage

That is chilly at night. I will get to installing them one day.
Ya take it a different dealer. As long as everything lines up it can not be blamed on your lift.

The only thing about this island is that there are only a select number of different Dealers, afterall I cant drive to another state unless I ferry it across. Also remember, DONT BUY FROM CUTTER JEEP CHRYSLER
