Sahara fenders??

Are they like the regular sport fenders or are they metal? I want to paint my fenders the same color as my body but I was wondering if I would have to transplant Sahara fenders on first and if I have to do that where can I find them? (Can't even seem to find them on Ebay)

All fenders on TJ are metal and come same paint as rest of tub

The fender flairs are black plastic but on Sierra the black plastic is also painted tub color

If you want all plastic fenders those come with the JK and you can even get a mini van V6 to round out the JK package

Krylon Fusion paint for plastic works great. The trick will be finding a color that is a direct match with your tub.

I bought Rubicon (at least I think they were) fender flares from a local forum member which were painted body color (black metallic or something) but I just wanted the extra 1" width so I sanded them, prepped them, and sprayed bed liner on them.

What I noticed was the filler they used to make them smooth instead of textured. It seems like that would be a must to get the paint to match very closely, light refraction/reflection/deflection/diffusion and all.

I did it to mine, and wish I didn't!
Now, when I go into the brush, the outer paint scratches, and the black under neath shows thru. constantly repainting. But yeah, Krylon Fusion, check amazon if you cannot find locally, then also get clear coat for the top coat.

Check with Napa as they may be able to customize some rattle can paint for you with the color code of your Jeep.

Hey There, I was in the same boat as you. I removed them and took to a paint shop:
