Shock Question

On my '98 TJ, It rides very rough. have about a 4" rough country lift, and I was wondering if the OME shocks would be great, read they were great shocks but only for a 2" lift Jeep??
Could I put OME shocks on my Jeep with the 4" lift?

I wouldnt really descibe them as "smooth" I mean it is a Jeep. what I have noticed on the road is that they are very stiff but flexible. Stiff being that when you are cornering you get little to no body roll, flexible being that when you hit bumps it absorbs so much of the hit that you barely notice it. I have hit some pretty large imperfections on the freeway doing 60 and felt nothing, however I have hit some areas, actually it's just one area on my commute home, that the whole jeep feels like I am getting some air time, but I think that is due to my springs... It's actually quite fun flying out of your seat...

What do you mean body roll? Like your going to fall out of the other side of the Jeep?

when the body or cab of the jeep bends with the turn... very nerve wrecking getting a lot of body roll

I am not sure about the OME's for a 4 inch lift, but see my other thread about what happens when you put a two inch shock on a four inch lift.
