I just bought a 1998 jeep wrangler and the dome light doesn't work. It must be a bulb or a fuse. Does anybody know which fuse is for the dome light in the 1998 wrangler?

Check the fuse box behind the glove box. The fuse for that is in there.

The fuse behind the glove box (fuse #4) is the door defeat for the dome light, but not the actual fuse. The actual fuse for the dome light is under the hood in the pdc. See if the dome light comes on by turning the headlight switch. If it does, chances are that someone pulled the door defeat fuse in the fuse box and never put it back.

Your radio's memory, courtesy lights, and power for your gauges are on the same circuit, so if they are not working, the fuse under the hood is the likely culprit. If everything else is working, check for a burn't out lamp first.
