i have a 98 tj w/ps.when its cold out(50 or below)i get a whining noise from my steering colum inside my jeep.my fluid is full and have no other problems.it goes away after my jeep warms up(not the outside temp).is there a way to grease the colum,or do i have to live with this?i bought the jeep when it was like 80 outside 2 years ago and its allways made the sound when its cold.any help would be great!! thanks

3 of the 5 Jeeps my family hasa do that as well. IF you can crawl under the dash, a little WD40 or scilicon spray will help. But its a very common thing.

My 99 Tj sounds the same. Cold contracts everything,
squeaks when it rubs.
Won't damage anything, just noisy.
