Steering shake

Noticed today my 97 was shaking as I would turn a corner in second gear, regardless if I was going left or right. Driving normally at any speeds it is fine. Any thoughts on the problem? Thanks

Start checking the front making sure everything is tight and that the front axel u joints are good.

X3 on checking the axle shaft u-joints. If you end up confirming you have a bad u-joint or two, it'd be real hard to beat the Spicer 5-760x u-joint as a replacement. It's a direct fit upgrade for the Spicer 5-297 the factory installed and it's significantly stronger and more durable.
