Stock fog light switch

Ok so I have an 01 wrangler with kc daylighters hooked up to the stock switch(the one that you pull out and they turn on) but the switch seems to be broken. No matter if it is out or in it is always on Any ideas on how to fix this?

The entire turn signal light and regular light switch? How hard is it to do that and how expensive?

or rewire it to the three switch plates next to the ash trey, I have a 01 also, and I know what your talking about, if mine ever goes I'll simply cur the wires and run them to a switch on the dash in that set

Yep, need a new multifunction switch. Recently replaced mine on my '02 for the exact same reason. I found it on-line for about $75 when the dealer quoted about $250 for it.

Double check your relay and wiring before you spend time and money on a new switch. It the switch is really broken you will be better off installing a new aftermarket switch in the dash for only a few bucks.

Yeah, those switches are notorious for problems...I didn't have fog lights when I got mine, but the indicator on my dash was constantly kicking on and staying on from a loose connection in my fog light switch. I also had problems of the detent or whatever it's called between my low beams and high beams not triggering the indicators properly. Like sometimes my high beam indicator on the dash would be on, but my low beams were on at the time or my high beams would just randomly switch to my low beams while driving. Needs a new switch probably. Since I don't have fogs, I just wired up some aftermarket driving lights to a dash switch and I use those as my high beams...and then I pulled the fog light fuse under the hood to turn the stupid indicator off.

If you go to the link I posted then it will show you a step by step on replacing it, with pictures. It is a pretty simple job to do.

If I recall correctly the part was about $75 delivered. Took about 15 minutes to install it. Just make sure to transfer the flasher relay from the old unit to the new one since it's not included.

That's the multifunction switch without the fog light option.
