TeraFlex 2Low & Novak TCase Shifter ?

Im ordering the Novak Transfer Case Shifter Cable kit. I just installed the TeraFlex 2Low while I was doing their Super Short SYE. Currently Im using my stock linkage which I know is in a bind.
I understand that the Tera 2low doesnt require modification to the guide, and neither does the Novak kit.
(Shifter guide is the metal channel that seems to create the stops, Forward & Aft, as well as the push to right to go into Low)
My questions are, have any of you had to modify this guide for this setup?
The reason I ask is, right now it seems like I need more travel through the guide to engage thru all the positions than I have now. Also I have heard tales of the 2Low coming undone but none where specific as to why they popped out of 2Low.
I assume the Novak kit will rectify all of this for me.
Thanks for any help.
