Thoughts on tube fenders

I am wanting a nice set of metal tube fenders. I found some metal cloak fenders and flares on their web site but for a pair of fenders with inner fenders and new battery tray and flares it's about $850. Are they worth the money. All the others I've found I would have to cut into my fenders but they are slightly cheaper. I really don't want to do that. Also what's a good price to ask for a good stock set of fenders? Maybe I could offset the cost a little.

Check ebay for prices.
Also poison spyder and gen right have full replacement if you buy their inner fender. But if you can weld and fabricate you can buy the ones you have to cut the fenders and fab an inner fender and make them full replacement.
I personally like rokmens hi-line fender and that's what I am going to buy when I get there.
Or fab my own.

Love my Metalcloaks. Great upgrade for me. The reason I chose them was because there was no cutting or fab work required.

They are kinda expensive but I like that they are straight bolt in. That's why I'm thinking of going with them.

Im also looking into getting Metal Cloaks. Ive talked to a few people that own and everyone loves them... Also, like TJ Nate said, what is a good price to sell the stock fenders for? Ive looked online a bit and good condition seem to run about $125 each. Anyone have any other thoughts on selling the stock fenders?

Just seen an awesome idea. Someone took their stock flares and cut them flat. Straight across the top then angled in on the front and back. They also cut out the side marker. I think I'll be doing this until I can afford the metal cloaks.

Check out Poison Spyder's... no fabbing needed. https://www.wranglerforum.com/f282/po...ew-164429.html
