Tire/wheel combo on stock (sounds like a typical question)

Is there anything fancy I would need to do to fit this tire/wheel combo on a stock lift? My goal is to stay as stock as possible, yet I am open to a small body lift or a 2” suspension coil lift.

CRAGAR Series 397 Black Soft 8 Wheel / 15x10" / 5 on 4.5" / 4.0" Backspacing

-and-

BF Goodrich All Terrain TA KO 32x11.50R15/C (I’m not sure if the tire width is wide enough for a 10” rim)

If not, I am just going to settle with my stock rims (2001 15x7 steelies) and get the tires 31x10.50R15

that tire will fit on the wheel. im running that same cragar with 33x15x12.5 comfortably. i believe you will have rubbing with no lift (i have a 4 inch lift so idl 100% if u will or will not). trim the fenders perhaps?

Put 'em on a 15x8... Not really wide enough for a 10. The bs will push them out enough to improve the stance quite a bit. You can fit them stock if you don't go offroad, if you do offroad, go for the lift and you may need to trim the flares as mentioned above. I run 33x12.5's on a 2" coil spacer with trimmed flares and am fine offroad, but I don't disconnect often. Did once, and didn't rub, but for the wheeling we do, disco isn't really needed...

I just love the look of extra wide wheels sticking out belond the fender flares. As of right now - I am not seeing any offroad since work and school are both full time, yet it is on my agenda for summer 2011. Long Island allows offroading on specified beaches with of course a permit the local government issues with a registration fee. There's no serious off roading there, it would be cool to have wide wheels/tires tracking across the sand though.

With 10" wheels you're tires will stick out quite a bit. Mine are about 2" past my flares with 12.5's on 15x8's... You're gonna have 2 more inches of wheel to the outside. Less tire bulge tho' so not sure how it'll end up...

This question has been asked many, many times on this forum. If you want LOTS more ideas and answers use the search button and do some research.

I guess you missed the "(sounds like a typical question)" part

Surely I couldn't find one of the "will this wheel fit" or "will this tire fit" with the specific sizes I mentioned to meet my specific concerns - hence why I started my own thread to ask.

I can go on and on and on with it.... everyone is trying to do something different to their own rigs

Thanks for taking the time to actually contribute.

Well, in Rubi's defense, the question is really.... "Can I fit 11.5" tires on a 10" wheel?" Which has been answered many times before. Just because you put extraneous stuff in there, doesn't really change the actual fact that needs to be addressed. The benefit of searching, and reading, is that as a result, you learn things. Things you might not have known that you needed to know, in order to accomplish what you desire.

Nothing wrong with asking a question, even if it has been asked a zillion times And nothing intrinsically wrong with someone telling you to do some research, especially once your question has been answered sufficiently.

Stick around, and you'll find that most of the time, questions are answered very quickly and knowledgeably, but in the process, at least one person will tell you to look it up.... It's just the nature of public forums...

TerrorJ2001: Accepted

IG: Thank you. It gets frustating at times to see the same question asked over and over when just a little effort on someones part would provide them many answers.

Oh that is nice how many inches of lift mine has 2 and I can't decide if I want to go to a 4 or a 5.5 ( rubicon exepress long arm ) it has 33" tires but I can easily stuff them into the fenders and frequently I find myself scraping the belly pan as u can see in the second pic :^(

4" lift and 33X12.5. The lift and tires were on it at purchase so I'm not positive what type. Pro Comp I think. Recently put on Skyjacker Hydros.

I had hydros on my old Cherokee loved them really good shocks!!! Especially for the money :^) I can not wait to be able to afford to put some cash into this jeep it came nearly the way it is a small 2" lift, 33-12.50-15 tires and kc lights I would love to bump up to 35" but it is a expensive endeavor to do it right so all in time she is fun and happy just the way she is till that day comes :^)
