I just purchased an 02 TJ. It has Skyjacker hydro7000 shocks and springs up front with what look to be stock shocks and springs in the rear, it also has a single Skyjacker steering stabilizer. I am looking at the Zone lift kit that comes with the 3" suspension lift, 1.25" body lift and 1" motor mount lift. Once that is on I am planning on putting 33x12.5's under it. It has Dana 30's in both the front and rear. I am assuming that it has whatever stock gears came in it. I am kinda new at all this stuff. So I have no idea how to tell what gears are in it and what I would need to upgrade to so I can safely drive my Jeep as it will most likely be my daily driver.

The rear axle is most likely a Dana35, not a dana30.

The zone 4.25 kit is a nice setup and will be fine for daily driving. The gears you'll want to go with are 4.56 (for a 6 cyl) or 4.88 (for a 4 cyl). Gears are done in both front and rear axles (in case you werent sure).

You'll want to get new rims for it with proper backspace so you dont rub at full turn, as well.

Thank you for the reply. Yeah it is a 6cyl. And no I wasn't sure if I would have to do both of the axles. The wheels that I have on it at the moment are the factory canyons. I really like the look of them, so would I be able to buy something like the Spydertrax wheel spacers? Not to mention... Unless I go with something like a set of Cragar soft 8's there really isn't much money in the budget for a set of wheels.
