What do you do with 2 old engines?

I recently swapped out my engine with one from a junk yard, in the end they gave me one more, now I have 2 sitting in my garage floor and want none.

Scrap metal, sell on Craigslist, donate to a fellow Forum buddy?

Build a stroker out of one (or both) then sell one and install the other.

South/western Georgia, just above Tallahassee, FL

Don't need a Stroker, I am quite happy with a stocker.

I am surprised no one has a recommendation, or needs an engine

I wish I had an extra engine laying around! I'd probably rebuild it and set it aside, or rebuild it for a project vehicle.

He is even pretty close to you i think. From reading his build thread https://www.wranglerforum.com/f118/ba...-76977-11.html he can certainly cut some kind of deal for them.

One engine is a 1997 4.0, 320,000 made a noise, possibly broke piston

Second engine is a 1998 4.0, 81,000 miles, probably burnt valve

I would rebuilt both and sell one of them. That would make two happy Jeepers in the end
