What gauge metal is TJ tub?

Does anyone know what gauge sheet metal the tj tub is?

Pretty damn thin. Maybe 18 guage if not 20.

I guess, mt pass. fender sure looks like tin foil after that battle with that tree. But it also took out my Warn bumper first, 3/16" thick! The tree won. haha. I am in about 600$ plus the cost of a new bumper.

What are you doing with you tub?

If you all think jeep tubs are thin, check out a samurai. My TJ's sheetmetal seems bulletproof compared to my sami.

I'm changing the taillights and frenching them.
I'm also filling in a hole in the grill where I have a 4" led turn signal, I'm going to put a smaller turn signal.
