Question Where to buy pitman arm seal???

I am planning on replacing my steering gear box. I know I will need to take off the pitman arm. The small black circular gasket or seal that is located on one end of the pitman arm (in between the arm and the track bar) - where can I buy a replacement in case I ruin mine? I can't seem to locate these things anywhere.

While I'm asking questions - does anyone know if the "recess nut" (I may have the wrong name) or the VERY large nut that is located on the other side of the pitman arm is reverse thread? It is the one that is actually on the gear box - someone told me this may be reverse thread. This is for a 2002 TJ.

Thanks!

It's called a tie rod boot.

Nope, all hardware down the is regular threaded (right have), not reverse or left hand threaded. "Recess nut", I think you are referring to a castle nut.
Be sure to torque those to spec.

The rubber gasket between the Pitman arm & the DRAG LINK is part of the drag link tie rod end.

If you use a pickle fork to remove the drag link you'll probably damage the boot and need to replace that tie rod end boot.

You can replace just the boot I think, but if the tie rod end has any age to it, you'd be better served to replace the unit.
