im looking to buy a sye to eliminate my vibes. I have a 2002 tj with 6.5" inches of suspension lift, and 3 inches of body lift. I ordered the brown dog 1 inch motor mount lift. i want to get rid of the t-case drop kit because shift gears is tough and i dont wanna grind down my tub anymore. Will the sye and the motor mount lift be enough for my lift to stop vibes? Which one do i buy and what kinds are available? i need a decent one and inexpensive.

With 6.5" of suspension lift I would suggest the absolute shortest SYE in the business. You need the JB shorty.

i have to say its impressive that you don't have enough vibes to make your engine and every other part fall out at that much suspension lift with no sye. some people get vibes at just 2 inches and a lot of people get vibes at 4". i can't believe your that tall without serious vibes. then again i can't believe your that high on short arms

there really is no cheap sye. go for a the jb or tom woods.
i don't know if tom woods has the super short one though like Mr. c said ya need.

Anymore there's no reason not to go with the JB or Teraflex Super Shorty SYE's. The cost difference doesn't negatively affect the benefit of being able to have that much longer of a drive shaft than you can get with an AA or Rubicon SYE.

i have the rough country lift, with the spacers, and the body lift. I have little to no vibration. You have to feel for the vibes to notice it and thats only with the t-case drop. Plus, i have the mml coming in so im sure that will get rid of all vibes for sure. but i still want the sye so i can put my skid back to stock height. To me, with all that lift on short arms, i think it rides the same with just the rough country lift without the spacers because i later added the spacers after the lift and i can tell that theres no difference.

critisize all u want, just remember that my lift is 3 times the size urs

No it isn't. And I can clear 42" tires.

keep in mind that i have the 1" motor mount lift coming in, but the t-case drop will be removed. i have no experience with the sye, so every ounce of information would be awesome to help deside my choice of the sye that fits my setup

you can get the jb super short and a tom woods drive shaft for right around $500-600
but if you want cheap like you say the look at rubicon express hack n tap its somthing like $90 you dont have to break open the tcase and the biggest expense is the drive shaft
sure its not a heavy duty sye but the people I know that run it has never had a problem
