wth is with my soft top???

Ok so i have never had a soft top before. And i picked up a brand new factory one.
I thought i better unroll and get an idea of how it goes on before i look like a tard in public trying to get it on.

Everything seems fine EXCEPT... it looks like the fabric is inside out on the header.... that is the only thing i can think of.
I dont have a owners man or anything so i couldnt look it up in there.

The fabric is supposed to wrap up and over the other direction from the way you have it in the photo. The cloth is supposewd to be on top of the header and the edge is just lapped under.

It looks like you have the fabric going under the header.
To fix:
Remove the screws.
Place the fabric on top of the header and fold the fabric underneath the header bar and give it an extra fold.
Then flip the entire headerbar AND fabric upside down and screw it in. This way, when you flip it back rightside up, the screws will be on the underside of the header, but then covered by fabric (not visible) and the fabric will wrap 270* around the header bar leaving only the inside/latch portion not covered.
Post more pics and keep trying, we'll let you know when you get it right.
Don't feel bad, I screwed mine up the first time too, but the fix is easy once you figure it out.

I don't think you will need to unscrew it just unsnap the snaps from the support bar(mid way) if they could even be snaped with it the way it is in the photo and bring the whole fabric around the header bar like this.

Your pic with the squiggly arrows pointing how to finish wrapping the top around the header is right on.
