Yes you can, but as with all body lifts linkage, motor mounts, fan shroud, ect will need to be adjusted too

body lift

banks covered it all in a nutshell, but a auto repair shop would make the lift process alot less timely, as the body can be lifted alot easier using an auto lift!

you mean motor mounts OR fan shroud. a 1" lift at the motor mounts will be around 1.25" at the fan, so no shroud adjustment should be needed

my friend has a YJ and wants to do a 1.25 body lift, also has an automatic transmission. before doing it, we need to know if it will cause problems like the with shifter.

The 1" daystar bl I used on my 92. In the detructions it talked about if I had an automatic I used this plate for the shifter linkage to compensate. Comes with the 1" automatic trans lift kit. Also I had to trim the bottom of the fan shroud due to the body lift. I wanted to keep the motor lower for cg but they also sell a 1" engine lift to go with the kit if you don't wanna trim the shroud.

PS the lift process was easy. I used my Hi lift jack on the body with a 2x4 for support. Just remember to loosen the shroud and the splash gaurds in the wheel wells before you start
