Video - Black Bear Pass 8-27-18

Here is my latest video from a trip to Ouray and Telluride. My wife and I celebrated our 25th anniversary in Ouray and she had never been on Black Bear Pass...so off we went! We were a solo Jeep but I met up with some others before the trail head and we all wheeled together for the day. I'll have 2 more videos coming out soon. Imogene Pass and Poughkeepsie Gulch.
Thanks for watching!

I've done a LOT of Jeeping in the Ouray/Silverton/Telluride/Lake City area. I've always said that if my Jeep NEVER goes down Black Bear Road with me in it, I'm perfectly OK with that. You, sir, have balls of steel. Well done!

Did Black Bear last year
It is intense but not due to technical difficulty. It gets built up in your head from watching all the videos so the fear factor is high. Do not get me wrong you have to pay attention and the consequences of a mistake can be high. But take a deep breath relax and concentrate and enjoy

In my opinion, Poughkeepsie Gulch is more challenging and fun than Black Bear, but at least there's always trails for everyone to enjoy in the Silverton, Ouray, Telluride area. That part of Colorado so incredible that I've gone the past two years in late June or early July and will be returning again this year (2019). Camping in the National Forest.

Camera angles always make it look worse than it is . . . until you see it for yourself!

Okay, I think I know where I'm going for summer vacation now.....
Thanks for posting. About how long does it take to go from Telluride to Ouray and then come back via Black Bear Pass?
