I really don't want the latter to happen.

Good Luck, L.M.
I hate to scare you but to a Grizzly bear that looks like an easy open lunch box .

Probably so!

When I camped in a tent I slept with a S&W .44mag under my pillow. I thought it was a good habit then and I continue to do so. By the time Bruin is able to rip his way in to what he might consider an easy dinner, I should be awake enough to start blasting away.
If you've ever touched one of these things off at night, you'll see the muzzle blast quite clearly. I hope I don't set my blanket on fire. Woe be to Bruin.

Good Luck, L.M.

I kept mine with me all the time. You never know what you will encounter on the trail.

Cool thread, I'll play!
All in Colorado. The group of goats is outside Montezuma, the single way at the top of peak 10 at Breckenridge and the fox was coming back down into Montezuma.
Tapatalk has been trying my patience with pics the last 24 hours!
