89' has no separate starter solenoid as does the 85. I need help in figuring out the wiring to the solenoid as the 89 doesn't have the two wires for the "s" and "I" on the selenoid. All o have is the wire from the junction box under the battery that ran to the 89' starter. I have no power getting to starter after trying wire on the "i" and "s". Do they make an updated starter for a 85' motor without the separate solenoid? Help much appreciated. 89' YJ automatic if it matters-this is a fresh rebuild-just trying to get the darn thing running-the motor came out of 85' CJ. Running DUI distributor-no separate coil for distributor
