Pulling 258 out of my 1980 CJ.

I needCo some advice. Is it easier to pull the engine with the Tranny and Transfer case still attached. If so what's the best way to do it and what all do I need to pull out to make room. Thanks in advance.

Leave the tranny in place. I just swapped engines in my 81 with an SR4, and it was pretty straightforward.

Leave tranny & T case in. Pull fenders and remove grill. It will be easy to do after that.
