15x10 Rims: Tire Width Options?

I have 15x10 rims. What tire widths can I run if I am not going to be rock crawling at all? (Read: I do not air down ever.) This TJ is my DD, and I drive about 600 miles every week. (Been doing that for nine years now in my TJ and have gotten used to it. Well, sort of. Heh, heh, heh...)

I have 12.5" 33s at the moment and would like to narrow them up for ride and mileage on the highway. So I need to know whether you can run 10.5" wide tires on 10" wide rims. I am assuming that this would be stupid and that I need to stick with 12.5" wide tires unless I get new rims.

Anyone? Anyone? Bueller?
