My 09 JKU X tires are 225/75 16's with the stock wheels. I plan on purchasing (on eBay) a set of 5-17 x 7.5 stock Rubi alloys along with 245/65 17 Firestone Destination AT's (from my local Firestone shop).
Is there anything I need to do or buy to make these work on my JKU? Or should the fit perfectly?

Any and all help will be greatly appreciated.

You can go up to a 255/75/17 on those wheels with no fitment problems.

That's what I was hoping to hear (or read. Lol). Thanks!

Ok, IG, got one more question. I have my eye on some wheels with a +10 offset (Ultra Mavericks). Still plan on getting the 245/70 16's. Will that offset mess me up? Obviously I don't quite know what all that means so I'm relying on your expertise. I appreciate your help (more than u know bcz my poor husband is so not mechanically inclined. Ugh!)

What size wheel? You should be fine with that offset but not knowing how wide the wheel is I can't say for sure. Offset makes my head hurt.... But basically, and you should verify this with the guys at Discount Tire Direct or someone whose head doesn't hurt, +10mm offset is .5" off center to the outside, so if your wheel is 8" wide then center is 4" and adding another .5" makes the bs = 4.5"..... (if my brain is working right this morning). + offset gives you more bs, - offset gives less bs. Your stock wheels have about 6" bs, so less will allow you to put on a wider tire than your stock wheels will permit.

Shoot a PM to discount tire and tell them the particulars on the wheel you want and your Jeep, and they'll be able to verify that they will fit. For my peace of mind if nothing else, I'd hate to be mistaken and cause you a problem.

Lol! I can definitely understand why your head would hurt! That's some confusing stuff. The wheel is 16x8. I'll shoot Discount Tire a PM. I do appreciate your help!
