18 in rims need tires.

Hey new Jeep guy here. Not real good with the tires and wheels but figured I would ask here first. I have a 2015 unlimited and just put 3in suspension lift on it. I bought 18 in rims to beef it up. I heard I can get up to 33 in tires to put on it. I don’t want it to ride real rough but want something rugged. Anybody have any suggestions on what and where to buy (tire sites)? Any feedback would be appreciated. Thanks

Welcome to the site, Ricky!

With a 3-inch lift you can easily clear 35-inch tall tires - 33's may look small. This is, of course, assuming the wheel dimensions are right.

A good in-between size to consider if you don't want to move up to 35's is 295/70R-18 which is about 34-inches.

We may be a bit bias but Discount Tire Direct is a good source to look into. DTD guarantee's the lowest out the door price on all the products they carry and they even give all WF.com members $50.00 OFF their total with the purchase of five(5) tires

I am running 295/70/18's on her 15 JKUR and that measures out just under 34". Running a teraflex leveling kit.

295/70-18 is a great tire size. Decent selection of tires and right there in height with a 35" tire. A set of 1.25 or 1.5" spacers and they are also good for stock Sahara wheels.

I would probably do the Mastercraft Courser CXT's in that size. Good price, great tire...
