255/75r17 KM price check

Looking to sell factory BFG KM 255/75r17 tires. Set of 5, 700 miles on them.

What's the going price on a full, almost new set?

I have seen them go for as low $200 to as high as $500 being brand new as in less than 50 miles. Not a super popular tire or size. I have traded my last 3 sets when brand new (like straight from the dealer to the tire shop) and the last 2X's I got $750 which made me happy. I of course was trading at a tire shop so I paid pretty much msrp on the tires but for me was easier than ordering tires and trying to sell my self and then having to pay for dismounting the old tires and mounting and balancing the new tires.

Well that's depressing given their retail price of ~$230 / tire haha. Wanted to swap into KO2s, but now reconsidering at that selling price.

I just sold my 5 Recon Takeoffs. 5,500 miles. $500 and lucky to get that. Most offers were in the $250-$350 range.

I paid $600 for 5 with only 1600 miles and Rubicon Hard Rock rims.

$250-$300 is probably a good ballpark for the tires alone.

Hate to say it but you may need to list them in a non-jeep forum if you want to get more per tire. Most that get rid of them don't want them and those of us that buy them only take them because of the cheap price for almost new tires.

Good Luck.

The guy that bought mine has a Chevy pickup. Works on Oil Rigs and was glad to get the tires for $500. Perfect tire for him as he needed traction on rig roads!
