285 70 17 duratracs on stock rims

Hey guys,

Im sure this has been asked before, but I really wanna run duratracs (or something similar) on my stock rims, but I d want to make sure im not going to have rubbing issues. My question is will the 285 70 17s rub on stock rims and if so where? I don't mind trimming the air damn, but I want to know if it will also rub on the suspension before I take the plunge. Anyone running duratracs on stock rims? Any issues?

I'm torn between those same 17" Duratracs (285/70R17) and BFG KO2 in size 33x10.5R15
They'd be 3 pounds lighter and allow for much lighter wheels… and rated C (rather than the Duratrac (D)set up with 17" wheels. Only a half inch wider and about an inch taller from my OEM GY SR-A 255/75R17.

Any opinions on highway driving between those two set ups?

On stock rims I would go Cooper ST Maxx 255/80/17.
