33x12.50 with 3.73's?

I came across a cheap set of mastercraft courser a/t's today. I'll have to recheck my gear ratio but I believe they are 373. Thoughts anyone? I don't do lots off roading but getting into it. Also have have a 1" bl for now. Either gonna do a 2"bb in the spring or a DIY highline set up.

Or should I just run 32's and not worry about performance and re gearing. Oh and I run 31x10.5 now

I ran 33" on my 2003 TJ Sport and it was fine. I had the 5 spd manual and it was mostly a highway rider, not much trail riding.

I have 33x12.5 Duratracs on 3.73 gears with a 5spd manual and it's really not that bad. After ditching the nearly bald 31s (basically 30s) and installing the 33s, I could barely feel a difference around town. The only time 33s and 3.73 are kinda sucky is on hills on the highway. When going up hills you will lose speed and power. But then again, all you have to do is downshift so it's not too big of a deal. Except on the interstate/highway, 5th gear is pretty much useless though.

There are several possibilities. Crawl underneath the rear of your Jeep and look at your rear differential. There should be a small metal tag that has some numbers on it. Read it and that's what your gear ratio is.

Is the tag not even there? You can always do one of those VIN report things that shows what all options your Jeep came with. It will tell you the gear ratio. And you can figure out the ratio from tire size and rpms at a certain speed but I'm not exactly sure about how to do that haha.
