36s on a tj

How much lift would i need to put 36x12.50s on my 03 tj wrangler

depends on what other mods your willing or can due. You can run 40's with under 3" of lift. But you need to run other fenders etc. If no other mods...5"-6" of lift with correct bumpstops and rim backspacing

X2 you could probably run em on no lift with hiline fenders correct backspacing and a little cutting to the rear wheel well if you wanted to.

Sorry to hijack but will 35s work with 3 inch lift on an 03 ? (ive got stock rims Im already going to buy new ones with proper backspacing . just wondering if I should go from 33s to 35s . Also ive got a rubi with 4.10s will 35s call for a regearing or will I survive?

35's need 4-5" to work best with no other mods.
