4wd or discount tire?

ok heres the deal:
i'm planning on ordering 33x12.5x15 duratracs very soon, i can get them from 4wd for $745.31 shipped to my door, and my credit card i'm using gives a bonus 3% cash back for buying from them, thats over $20 cash back, plus the $40 rebate from goodyear, and the (in the end) $75 rebate from treadlightly,
now discount tire, same 4 tires, no bonus cash back, same mail in rebates though, but for $854.00 (including the certificates for replacement)

i think i'm gonna go with 4wd considering the cheaper price (still a few bucks cheaper even without the stems/certificates), and the better cash back bonus... any input?

I personally think that youcan't beat Discounts service, and that they are very easy to find a location if something happens when you are traveling. IMO

PM the DiscountTire rep here, they may shock you with a quote. I am ready for new wheels and I beleive their prices have the others beat. But I don't own any credit cards (OK, 1 Target emergency card...) as they are the devil, so I can't comment on any cash back offers. Debit or don't buy it! LOL!

Is there a 4wd near you to pick up the tires? If not, add shipping to their quote, plus mount and balance.

I have had great service and experience the last couple years with our local Discount Tire. I have re-tired all our vehicles, including the motorhome.
I switched from the other PNW tire dealer I used for years, when they went Schwabby on me!

Doesn't Discount usually price-match their competitor's prices?

Not sure where in western PA OP lives, but there is a 4WD store in Columbiana County in eastern OH by Youngstown. Whenever I go to IKEA in Pittsburgh, I always drive by there . . . you could have them ship stuff there and pick up and save on shipping, that's what I do.

Doesn't Discount Tire road force balance the tires?

Throwing a monkey wrench in here, try tirebuyer.com, I don't know if they're cheaper but I recently bought my 33x12.5 MTZ from them and was extremely satisfied with their service and pricing

I would buy them where they are going to be mounted. Having a tire problem you have to solve by shipping at your own expense can eat up that savings quick, and then some.

The rep I spoke to at Discount told me they did not care how the tire was damaged, they would replace it. That sure beats the typical ( oh the damage in this area is not covered ) answer you get from everybody else. Discount is the way to go for sure.

I live pretty close to both here in Fort Worth, and have bought from both. I personally prefer Discount because of their service and they price match here. I used to always get the tire replacement (about $34 a tire) but have never used it and I don't 4 wheel to much (everyday driver) so it knocks down the cost. (I think it's also $16 a tire) for lifetime rotation; which I definitely take advantage of.

I just bought tires for my wife's truck and you can actually go to the discount website and fully price out to figure out your out-the-door costs.

So, I guess my vote is for discount.

After my experiences with Discount Tire over the years (used them even before I got my Jeep), I wouldn't buy anywhere else. Their service just cannot be beat, IMO.

Attachment 65785All, i got a good set of wheels at discount tire, but got even a better deal at 'www.tirebuyer.com' website. saved about 65 dollars by going to tirebuyer for my recent Mickey T.'s 265/75/16's. here is a picture of the wheel from discount tire (ultrawheels.com), and the new Mickey t.

I placed my order with tirebuyer, got free shipping, and almost next day it was here via fedex. really amazing.
