9"wide steel rim w/ 285/70-17 and 5" backspace?

Getting new BFG's KO2's 185/70-17 and new steel rims for stock JK with no lift. Got a great deal on a set of the Unique 297 steel wheels from discount tire but they are 17" x 9" with 5" backspace and zero offset (I know everything says 4.5 backspace is ideal). My goal is to get as much tire I can and to NOT stick out from factory fenders. Anyone have experience with this rim/tire size? Discount tire is being a bit vague on it and I think the rims are discontinued and they found 5 at another store and are shipping them in. They didn't list the backspace on the DT site and I didn't know they were 5" till I researched it quite a bit. They are being shipped now. Thanks.

The same wheel 8" wide has 4.5 backspace, but I'm sure not available. Getting the 9" wheels really cheap btw, but not if they don't work?

They should work with 285s just fine. *Might* need to trim your airdam a bit if you get rubbing when turning lock to lock, but you will most likely clear with no problem.

Will they stick out from factory fenders? Really didn't want that.

you should be just inside the fenders.
